Great children's book!
My wife and I just read this book to our five-year-old who loves farm animals, and all three of us were laughing out loud.My wife and I agree that this is our favorite children's book of all time, slightly better than Jan Brett's "The Mitten."

A great book!
I purchased this book for my library and read it regularly during my storytimes to pre-schoolers. I have also read it to the kids during the Summer Fun program. The story lends itself very well to reading aloud and is a very entertaining book for all ages. I enjoy it so much, I've decided to buy a personal copy.

ABSOLUTELY HILARIOUS

I am bummed that my son is 10 years old...
He's outgrown the Minnie and Moo series. Fortunately, I have nieces who are younger. These are funny books! The catch line in all of the books is "I was thinking, Moo" and then trouble usually starts. Now anytime I'm talking to my husband and say "I was thinking..." He says, Uh Oh Minnie.

Richie's Picks: MINNIE AND MOO AND THE THANKSGIVING TREE
This is the wackiest easy reader ever published!We've successfully adapted this one for the stage so that our middle schoolers can perform it for the K-2 students who, in turn, can utilize the actual book in learning to read.The laugh-out-loud tale involves all the animals hiding up a tree because the turkeys have gone missing and...well, you know, the food chain -- if there is no turkey for Thanksgiving then who is going to be next in line.It doesn't matter how many times I hear the line, I fall over laughing when one of the city cousins tugs hard on a curly tail in the tree and brightly exclaims, "I picked a pig!"

My grandchidren (4 & 5) and I are Minnie and Moo addicts.We laugh a lot when we read these books together.This Thanksgiving story is no disappointment.The idea of all these animals in the "old oak tree" is funny enough.Then, when the Farmers bring their guests to the tree for a Thanksgiving picnic we had tears in our eyes from laughing.

Funny, funny, funny!
My 7 yr. old daughter had this on her 2nd grade summer reading list for school.We got it from the library and laughed so hard while reading it.She must have read it 5 times out loud to every family member she could find. I decided to buy some M&M books for my almost 7 yr. old niece for her b'day. It's a great 1st grade to 2nd grade reading level book. Content wise, ages 6-8 will get most of the jokes. The wonderful illustrations help to make these cows funny as they really support the jokes in the book.I was not offended by the girdle references in the book (as some others were) as I told my daughter it's a form of underwear and at this age, anything having to do with underwear is funny. ... Just a few beefs
I wasn't overly impressed with this book. The plot could have been fresher and the characters and action funnier. I used this book with a few young students who weren't overly excited by it either. Youngsters won't get much of the humor here.

Awesome Book
The first time I read this to my daughter I had to explain how a few things, but then once she got why some of the things were funny... I have never heard her laugh like that over a book before.It's now one of her favorites.

Positively the dumbest book I have ever read to my child.He loves cows, but hates this book, and so do I.It contains jokes he cannot understand, it's illustrations are lame and the premise of the story is stupid

After my kids and I giggled through Minnie and Moo go to the Moon, we were eager for more adventures of these hilarious cows.In Minnie and Moo Save the Earth, we were a little disappointed.In the story Minnie and Moo arelounging in the farmer's hot tub when they see a comet that appears to landon the hill nearby.It is actually an alien space craft whose passengersbelieve Minnie and Moo are gigantic earth inhabitants.The hilarity in thefirst book stemed from the cows interpretation of events.For example, thefarmer they believe cannot drive the tractor without his boots and hat. Hilarious!
The Minnie and Moo books are some of the funniest I've ever read. I'm 48 and my daughter is 8, and I don't know who enjoys them more! We quote them all the time, and, after reading the library's copies, we're buying our own so we can always have them around to share the laughter. Thank you, Denys Cazet!

We Could be Heroes--Just for One Day
This is a zany, beautifully illustrated children's book that will have most adults laughing as well. We need more heroes like these!
After reading one too many books out in the fields, two cows allow their imaginations to get the best of them in this hysterical romp through the barnyard. Moo convinces Minnie that their farm is in need of some heroes, so the two bovines assume "exotic" names and, with the help of an old lipstick and a can of underarm deodorant, set out to save the world. Bright pencil and watercolor illustrations capture the cows as they liberate the chickens from the rooster, and save the world from the farmer's long underwear. Meanwhile they start a feud between the farmer's wife and her neighbor. another funny adventure
Minnie and Moo are back, this time with an Easter story. The cows discover that the farmer will not dress up and play the Easter bunny for his grandkids.They set out to enlist the help of some farmyard friends.Now one will help so they dress up to play the part.When the time come for the visit from the Easter bunny Minnie and Moo find that all of their friends had a change of heart and are dressed to play the part! Follow them on their adventures as they all play the part of the Easter bunny for the farmers grandkids.
TOO FUNNY....
When Minnie tells Moo that the farmer says he's too old to be the Easter Bunny this year, Moo panics and looks for an Easter Bunny replacement. She asks Elvis the grumpy rooster and some of the other farm animals. In the end, Moo tries solving the problem herself, and gets an Easter surprise of her own.
