4-0 out of 5 stars Sailor Moon 1
This was the first Sailor Moon book. There are five chapters. (I am going to write about exactly what happens in each chapter, so you might want to skip this part if you haven't read it yet.)
5-0 out of 5 stars Wow
Okay, what hasn't been said about sailor moon. It's wonderful and happy and gives little girls the fleeting hope that one day a magical cat will show up and tell them they're a super hero (yes, I secretly hoped this and when I finally passed my 14th year, the year sailor moon becomes sailor moon, I was noticeably dissappointed).Yes, it's pathetic. However, I'm not really here to review.See, I have owned the manga series since they first came out in the US and my first five or so have been read so much that they aren't in great shape. But #1 is by far the worst (the binding is shot), so I thought that I would get a new copy to read and cherish and protect my first copy.I did not know that it appears that it is out of print or something in the US.So I'm just writing about my incredulity at the prices it is going for now and feeling very proud of my ownership of one of the first prints in the US.HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!Oh, and yes I'm over 13, I just hate to divulge the info they want for the adult form.

5-0 out of 5 stars Sailor Moon #11
This book is mostly about Luna, Sailor Moon's pet cat. But all the Sailor Scouts are in it (except Saturn.) They are Usagi (Bunny), Minako (Mina), Ami (Amy), Rei (Raye), Makoto (Lita), Rini, Haruka, Michiru, and Setsuna. Artemis is also in this book. I think Diana is, too.
5-0 out of 5 stars A Seperate Sailormoon Masterpiece
In my opinion, this is the best Sailormoon book Takeuchi did. I love Stars and all the other series, but this one was just in another field of excellence. 5-0 out of 5 stars What are you waiting for? ORDER IT!!!!
Do I really have to say that this woman's artwork is gorgeous? No, I don't think so. In this book, Bunny, who's Sailor Moon, helps Luna-her cat advisor from planet Mau- have her Christmas wish. Luna falls in love with an astronaut named Kakeru. However, there are more than a few problems. 1:She's a talking cat, he's human. 2. He's in love with his childhood friend Himeko. 3. He found a crystal falling from a comet he discovered, and it's sort of draining his life force. 4. In a thousand years, Artemis-another cat advisor-and Luna live in Crystal Tokyo with their daughter Diana. If Luna doesn't stick with Artemis, Diana won't exist. 5. Princess Snow Kaguya is trying to freeze the Earth.Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Sailor Moon SuperS #3
This is Sailor Moon SuperS book three and Sailor Moon book fourteen in all the Sailor Moon books. It is mostly about Haruka, Michiru, Setsuna, and Hotaru. Hotaru lives with the other three Outer Scouts now. They become Sailor Scouts again in this book. They are Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, and Saturn. Sailor Saturn is one of my favorites. That's actually why I bought this book. It has her on the cover.

3-0 out of 5 stars Average SM volume
Sailor Moon Super S vol. 3 is an average chapter in the continuing saga of Bunny, Darien, and her sailor scout friends.Naoko Takeuchi's artwork is not as crisp as the previous volume.During the battle scenes it is confusing and difficult to figure out what is happening. The sound effects are odd and distracting: "float" (is that a sound?), "russle" (does she mean rustle?), "stickyyy," "bro broom," and one of the most puzzling, "hurrrl."These negative comments reflect the second half of the book; the first half is rewarding.Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars A great book for fans and non fans!
I had stumbled accross the WOL website and I liked the idea of the book, being a Sailor Moon fan since I was 14 years old when the anime first came to America.
3-0 out of 5 stars A Little Dry
In this very short semi-guide book, more than half of the contents are of places and their history. The rest is very interesting dealing with ideas and concepts of the show in relation to Japan, however high price for a very short book.

5-0 out of 5 stars An entertaining and informative resource for Sailor Moon fans everywhere.
This book is an invaluable resource to both long time fans and people new to the Sailor Moon series. It sheds some light upon a culture that many Westerners would find interesting. And it is told in a way that the average layman can understand, which is a plus.

This is a wonderful volume. Bunny/Darien, Usagi/Mamoru, Serena/Darien are my favorite couple.. I loved both the Japanese and English versions. The Japanese version is my favorite and the English version is great. I use both the Japanese names, Usagi and Mamoru and the English names Bunny and Darien. This volume is touching and has lots of heartfelt moments. Bunny's boyfriend and true love, Darien was kidnapped. Bunny finds out about her past with Darien and how when she and him were Serenity and Endymion, Endymion died protecting her and Serenity commited suicide to be with him. After meeting her true mother, the queen, the truth is revealed of how they were reincarnated. Bunny misses Darien so much. When a new guy, Endo appears, who looks a lot like Mamoru, Darien, new things are discovered. Mamoru, Darien has been revived. He has been given a new personality. Bunny becomes intrigued. Soon, she finds out the truth about what happened to Darien. She knows what she must do when she must battle her one true love, Darien. In the anime, Usagi, known as Bunny heals Mamoru, known as Darien with her locket. Bunny used the locket to turn Darien back to himself and she heals him. However, in the manga, it's very different and Bunny must stab him and stabs herself. It's very ehartbreaking. In the anime, when Usagi saves Mamoru and when Bunny saves Darien, her locket helps restore his memories and he becomes himself. In the manga, it's very different. Bunny kisses Darien one last time before she takes both their lives. A flashback of Serenity and Endymion's last night together is shown. Bunny and Darien awaken. Darien becomes himself again. 1-0 out of 5 stars A Warning to Parents:
"Sailor Moon, Vol. 4" contains very inappropriate content.I can hardly remember the comic itself, but I do remember the little pictures that Naoko Takeuchi used to decorate her notes to the reader, and a blank part of a page. One was of the Sailor Scouts, though younger children may be clueless to the TYPE of girl that wears the outfits they were wearing. And the other was just flat out disgusting and uncalled for, and is probably worse than what is in most adult television shows (I'm serious).

5-0 out of 5 stars At it's best, in the end
Through the Anime, Musicals and mass production of Sailor Moon, the manga has something that none of these others do. It's was a first for female anime genre which launched countless others into the spotlight. After All the story arcs, battling the past, furture and even themselves at times, Sailor Moon has been through many hardships. This is the final, and it's best, form of good vs. evil and the prevailing form of "love and justice"

5-0 out of 5 stars Sailor Moon #10
This is the book where they fight Mistress 9. I have also seen the anime version of it, and I liked the part where Sailor Saturn appears better in the manga. It was longer, in the anime she was just there for about a minute. However, I liked the part where they were fighting Mistress 9 better in the anime because it's not as confusing. The manga is different than the anime because in the anime Mistress 9 looks like Hotaru with longer hair but in the manga it destroys the body so the Sailor Soldiers are fighting a monster instead of Hotaru. All of the Sailor Soldiers are in this - Usagi/Sailor Moon, Minako/Sailor Venus, Ami/Sailor Mercury, Rei/Sailor Mars, Makoto/Sailor Jupiter, Haruka/Sailor Uranus, Michiru/Sailor Neptune, Setsuna/Sailor Pluto, Mamoru/Tuxedo Mask, Chibi-Usa/Sailor Chibi Moon, and Hotaru/Sailor Saturn. (But the English names are used for the Inner Senshi and Chibi-Usa and Mamoru.)
5-0 out of 5 stars Wonderful!!!
This book is a wonderfully drawn and written manga(comic) by Naoko Takeuchi. Sailor Moon really shows how much she has matured over the time. It shows you death really is a part of a fight. Love and action is all thourghout this book making you sometimes very sad. If you like the Japanese anime (cartoon) version you'll love this book. I recommend you buy the books in order though.

5-0 out of 5 stars Breathtaking...
This is my absolute favorite out of all the Sailor Moon mangas.I love the Supers series to death, and this is the perfect ending.I've got to say that the main reason this one is my favorite is because of the artwork. It's stunning, to say the least.Ms. Takeuchi pulled out all the stops on this one. No matter how many times I read Supers #4, the picutres never fail to make me stop and say, "Wow".It's certainly not lackin in plot, either. This is where everything comes together, and every twist and turn is compelling and credible.Every element of the ending to Stars is satisfying. This little book, in my opinion, represents manga at its finest.

5-0 out of 5 stars Wonderfully drawn and written.
The whole series is very mysterious and keeps you on the edge of your seat. When you're reading this series all that goes through your mind is "What's the Golden Crystal?" 'Who's Helios?" And most of all "Is Darien gonna be OK?" Finally the last book of this series! IT's wonderfully written and drawn as I said before. It teaches you little lessons that you don't realize until you need to know these lessons. (Does that make sense?) If you read the previous books of the SuperS series you should really get this one to find out what happens in the end. It's so sweet and happy! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Okay?
I haven't read the manga(any of it) but I want to point something out. Who in this entire universe would want the name Bunny? I woundn't. Maybe that's why they changed it to Serena. Just a tiny clue, you know.

5-0 out of 5 stars AWESOME
Well, this book is when sailor V first appears. She is totally cool. Darien and Bunny (Tuxedo Mask and Sailor Moon) figure out eachothers true identities. And they find the silver imperium crystal(which is very very important). If you have seen Sailor Moon on Cartoon Network, just a thing. This is much different. Sailor Moon isn't as...clumsy. And the whole crystal thing is done way differently. Still an amazing book, well written, good plot. Any real sailor moon fan will absolutely adore this book.

4-0 out of 5 stars Sailor Moon #6
This book is as weird and confusing as the others, but I like the picture on the front! With Sailor Pluto! It has all six Sailor Scouts on the cover! Mina (Minako) Amy (Ami) Raye (Rei) Lita (I can't remember her name!) Serena (Usagi or Bunny) and Trista (Setsuna). It is really good looking, but Amy's earrings look wrong!
