See the beginning for yourself!
This book is a time capsule from the beginning of the Boy Scouts in the United States.Ecology?The Boy Scouts were there in 1911.Animal rights?Ditto.Of course, the specifics in this century-old text may not match current viewpoints, but the Boy Scouts were global before Globalism became chic!I showed the ads to really old boy scouts-those who were boy scouts during the 1950's-and they were reminded of the changes.
Second Best Seller to the Bible..Nothing Else to Say!
This best seller needs no explanation as to why it has sold second only to the Bible. God is first Baden Powell follows. Remember this book has been read by Presidents, heroes, scientists, teachers, etc. Why not you...

a MUST HAVE for any tiger scout
we bought this book right away once my son signed up for tiger scouts.....it's full of anything you'd need to know about tiger scouts....what a great book.and it's not like buying it is going to break your bank.I just bought the activity book for my daughter for Daisy Girl Scouts, and it was MORE expensive, and I was less impressed with it than I was with this book.it has great activities to do with families, activities to do with the den.any info you need at all is in this book, you can't get through tiger scouts without it...don't hesitate...buy it today!!!:)

You'll need it if you're serious about scouting

48 years out of date
Agree with the other reviewer, this wolf cubscout book is 48 years out of date and has absolutely no value to me or my 7 year old cubscout. seller should state whether the book is current of not.

Good for Scouts and parents!
I was never a Scout, though my father was one. Well, now my son is a Boy Scout, and wanting to support him in that, I have become a committeeman, but what is Boy Scouting exactly? Well, the best place to start is right here in the Boy Scout Handbook. The book explains the ranks, skills and opportunities of Boy Scouting. It also tells you what is required and even a quick history of Scouting.
A great book for a Boy Scout, and a handy book for anyone.
If you're a Boy Scout, you have to buy this book. Period. It has everything a scout will need to know contained in it. AN ESSENTIAL BOOK!!!!
